Individual grades within a group
All members of a group receive the group grade. The rubric requires every member to present, with content and speaking time shared equally.
Scoring bands
Each of the five rubric criteria is worth 20 points and is scored in one of four bands: Excellent (18-20), Good (14-17), Fair (10-13), or Weak (0-9).
Weighting
Paper presentations and critiques are 40% of the final grade. Reading responses and participation are 20%; on Canvas this is split into Reading responses (15%) and Participation and course activities (5%).
